Tour of Houten-Amersfoort

Via Rhijnouwen, Slot Zeist, the Soestse Duinen to the heart of Amersfoort. From there via Den Treek, Maarsbergen, past Doorn, Langbroek and Werkhoven back to Houten. Forest, sand drift, city, heathland, beautiful countryside (Den Treek, small detour to Sandenburg, other country estates along Langbroeker Wetering, climb over the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, wide views, in short, something for everyone. Due to the many taverns along the way, suitable for a long cycling day Tip: annoying part is along Zeisterweg and Amersfoortseweg, to junction 6. From the cycle path along Zeisterweg, cross behind the Henschoterplas, after which you end up in the center of Maarn, where you take the low tunnel under the A12. On the other side turn left towards junction 7.
