From Terra Maris you drive to Vlissingen. A varied route that takes you along quiet roads and through the forests along the coast. In Vlissingen itself you will pass the Gevangentoren, a remnant of the sixteenth-century Westpoort. You also cycle past the Vissershaven and the seventeenth-century Oranjemolen. You can sail to Breskens with the special bicycle and pedestrian ferry. You then cycle along the Waterdunen, a nature reserve within the dike that is still being developed. You will also pass through Groede Podium: a small forest area where the history of the Atlantic Wall lives on. In the picturesque village of Groede you will feel like you are in Flanders. You sail back to Vlissingen via Breskens. You drive through the Walcheren polders via Domburg back to Terra Maris. Time for a visit to the museum.
