In the Gelderse Rivierenland you can enjoy ancient castles and windmills, idyllic orchards and lovely dyke villages. At Landgoed Mariënwaerdt you immediately see many old buildings. On the other side of the Linge you pass De Vlinder, a corn mill from 1913. And you cycle through Landgoed Noordenhoek. In Geldermalsen you pass Molen De Bouwing from 1848. Through the countryside you drive to the idyllic surroundings of Molen Waardenburg from 1780. The medieval Kasteel Waardenburg is also a picture. Further on you come across the fourteenth-century Landgoed Neerijnen, the current country house was built around 1600. Castle Ophemert dates from the seventeenth century. Along the Linge you cycle again to Geldermalsen. During the tour you will pass Brasserie Poelzicht, enjoy a snack and drink here to rest and then continue cycling the route.
