Description
The first few kilometres are lovely cycling along meadows and fields. Ideal to clear your head and get into the rhythm. You will pass through the villages of Haps and Rijkevoort, after which you will pass De Nepomukkapel from 1737 just past junction 1. It is one of the outbuildings of Kasteel Boxmeer, which is located at the end of the Veerstraat. Further on you will cross the Maas, via the picturesque Afferden you will enter the Bergerbos. This nature reserve is part of the Maasduinen National Park. Just past Gennep there is a lookout tower in the floodplains, from here you have a beautiful view of the surroundings. From a distance you will see the Sint-Martinuskerk appear on the horizon, a beautiful view. Through the town of Cuijk you will cycle back to Camping D\\\'n Driehoek.
