Cycling route Maashorst, Bedafse Bergen and Nistelrode

You cycle via the Bedafse Bergen to the authentic village of Nistelrode. Nearby you can drive straight into the De Maashorst nature reserve. Here, agricultural activities coexist with nature and the area is managed with respect and left intact as much as possible. In the gigantic area, heathlands and coniferous forest alternate with vast grassy meadows and deciduous forest. Wet and dry soils alternate in the hilly landscape and you will also see babbling streams. The Schaijkse Heide is located in the middle of the nature reserve. Animals such as deer and foxes, but also Scottish Highland cattle, roam around in the section, which is closed off with cattle grids. Get off at the edge of the nature reserve for a delicious lunch at De Pannekoekenbakker Zeeland before cycling back to your starting point.
