Cycling through the forests around Roggel

Around Limburg's Roggel you will make a beautiful trip through the forests. Get on the saddle and come and unwind for a day in Limburg.

The route starts at Recreation Park De Leistert, a holiday park that has won several awards! You will soon pass the Sint Petrus, a corn mill from 1901. A little later you will cycle through the coniferous forest of the Asbroekerheide. What is immediately noticeable here in Central Limburg: the refreshing silence! Around the village of Heibloem you will cycle through a mix of farmlands and forest, after which you will cycle through the somewhat romantically named forest of Waterbloem.

Leumolen
Café Maneslust Biej Mieke is a nice place for a stopover in the beautiful Neer. Further on, you pass the Sint-Servatius church in Nunhem. The beautiful marl tower dates back to the fourteenth century. Then you cycle into the Leudal, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the Netherlands. This forest is known for its stream valleys and wet forests. You will also find the Leumolen here, a water mill from 1773. What a beautiful cycling region Central Limburg is!
