Tour of Haps, Cuijk and Beers

The Brabant village of Cuijk is located along the Maas. From Haps you cycle past fields and beautiful wooded areas to this elongated village. The trees here are home to breeding birds such as the yellowhammer, nightingale, blackbird and warbler. In Cuijk you cycle past the shipyard. Loads of gravel and sand are transported here. The biomass power plant a little further away is also impressive. This generates electricity from agricultural residual flows such as wood chips. The port leaves you for what it is. The Linden flour mill from 1869 is the next attraction. At Beers you cycle through the beautiful estates of Ossenbroek, Nieuwenhof and De Dennen. The landscape consists of forests, streams and meadows. After more than twenty kilometers you arrive at your starting pint in Haps. Time for a delicious ice cream at IJs & Spijs!
