Around Brunssum you cycle through a decor in which fields, meadows, stream valleys and forests alternate. You also pass through some interesting villages. In short, a beautiful route through the Limburg hills!
Farm First you loosen up your legs in the vast Heidserpark on the edge of Brunssum. In Oirsbeek you pass the Sint-Lambertus church with its striking tower. In Bingelrade you will also see some beautiful old buildings and farms. In Etzenrade you pass the Etzenraderhof from 1712 with its beautiful bell gable.
Brunssummerheide On the Leiffenderhofweg you will pass a twelve-metre-high viewing hill. Walk to the top and enjoy the panorama. Further on you will cycle over the German-Dutch border through the Schinveldse Bos. On the edge of Brunssum you will cycle through the Schutterspark, which was built between 1920 and 1940. Here you will find the Schutterspark petting zoo, among other things. Finally, you will cycle through the forests on the edge of the Brunssumerheide. What silence!
