National Park de Maasduinen is a beautiful nature reserve on the east bank of the Limburgse Maas. In addition to natural beauty, you will also experience the cultural history of Limburg with this route.
River dune
The Maasduinen is the longest river dune belt in the Netherlands. The national park includes various sub-areas, so that you can drive for many kilometers through a varied landscape of forests, fens and the excavated Reindersmeer. Now that's nice cycling!
Fresh flan
There is also quite a bit of heritage on your route. What about Tuindorp, the town that was developed as a real garden village on the drawing board in the 1950s. Further on you will pass the moated Kasteel Well, which originally dates from the fourteenth century. A beautiful spot! After you have enjoyed the silence in the woods for a while, you can settle down at Eetcafé Het Centrum for a coffee with fresh pie.
