Description
The beautiful National Landscape of De Graafschap stands out between Ruurlo and Lochem. The landscape here is picturesque and idyllic with fairytale vistas, authentic hedgerows, hedges, farms, fields and streams. A wonderful area to cycle through.
Old mills and estates
From the starting point you set course for the Zwiepse Molen, which is located between Lochem and Barchem. This mill was placed in 1851 on the Zwiepse Berg. The function of the mill is to grind grain and a volunteer miller ensures that milling is still done in the Zwiepse Molen. You then cycle past Landgoed De Heest, which is more than five hundred years old. Then you pass mill Agneta. This mill dates from 1917. Originally it was a peeling, oil and corn mill, but nowadays it is a saw and corn mill.
