Description
This route starts at hotel De Gentsche Poort and takes you through the Zeeland polder landscape, along the Western Scheldt to the Zeeland North Sea coast with a nice possible stop in the town of Breskens. Then through the Waterdunen nature reserve along the lighthouse, into the Zeeland inland. Via various polder roads near the Flemish border back to Hotel de Gentsche Poort. De Gentsche Poort is a family hotel in the rural Biervliet, a village in the region of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. After a day of blowing out, it is time to relax again and stay at hotel De Gentsche Poort.
From the hotel it is possible to plan many different beautiful cycling routes. Both towards the Zeeland Flanders coast, the Zeeland polder landscape and Zeeland inland as through the Flemish hinterland (cross-border cycling routes).
