Tour of Stippelberg and Loobeekdal

Your route starts at Restaurant De Eeterij. First you drive through the vast coniferous forest of the Brouwhuissche Heide. You will also discover the De Stippelberg nature reserve. Here you see a remnant of the heath that used to cover almost the entire Peel. This cycle route takes you further through De Stippelberg and the Loobeekdal. In the Limburg part of the route it is nice to make kilometers. You drive past the Airport Forests and Balloon Column Forests to Merselo. You drive through the Loobeekdal, a nature reserve of moist grasslands and swamp forests. You will pass the Johanna-Elisabeth, this flour mill from 1844 and one of the few bottle-shaped mills in the Netherlands. You drive back through the Brabant countryside, past a series of fields, meadows, hamlets with old farms and stream valleys.
