Tour of Sluis, Oostburg and Cadzand-Bad

Get a breath of fresh air on the beach and cycle through the reclaimed Zeeland. This cycle route starts in the old fortified town of Sluis, which was created when the Zwin nature reserve started to silt up. The village grew to become the main port of Bruges, but was severely affected by the Allied bombardment on October 11, 1944. 61 inhabitants died and a large part of the village was reduced to rubble. After the war, the city was rebuilt in traditional style. After about 25 kilometers you arrive in Oostburg. You then cycle north towards Cadzand-Bad. Get a breath of fresh air on the westernmost sandy beach of the Dutch coast before cycling back into Sluis.
