Description
This route takes you through three countries. First you cycle to Eys and Mechelen where you can admire the centuries-old Onderste Molen. From the road in Bommerig you have beautiful views of the green Geuldal. Just before Terpoorten you pass the Wingbergermolen. Further on you cross the border with Belgium. Soon you arrive in Sippenaeken where you can take a look at the Sint-Lambertuskerk from 1840. Via Plombieres and Moresnet you cycle into the Preuswald. The mini-state of Neutral-Moresnet was located here between 1816 and 1920. Through the forests you cycle to the Drielandenpunt and the valley around Holset. In the picturesque Lemiers you cycle into Germany.
