This route takes you largely through the Meuse Valley. You start at Clevers IJssalon Einighausen and from here you first cycle through the village of Berg aan de Maas. You cross the river by ferry, after which you come through the Negenoord nature reserve. Here you cycle over a dike between two gravel pits. There is a ten-metre-high lookout tower that was built from a clay and gravel mixture that was extracted in this region. Further on you cycle along the Bichterweerd. This nature reserve was also created by gravel extraction. At junction 26 you come through Heppeneert, a place of pilgrimage. At the edge of Maaseik you cross the border, after which you cycle to Grevenbicht. Via the monumental Sluis Born you cross the Julianakanaal, after which you make a round through the Limbrichterbos. The route ends with a delicious ice cream at Clevers IJssalon Einighausen.
