One of the smallest hamlets you can cycle through is undoubtedly Kruiningergors. Located on the Brielse Maas in South Holland, many people visit the place in the summer months; there are many holiday homes and there is a marina where beautiful ships anchor.
Het bunting was created around 1926 as a kind of wild campsite, where bathers from Rotterdam spent the night in self-made huts and tents when they wanted to spend a few days by the sea.

The Kruiningergors, with its many lanes and fields, has now become a household name. Many people know where to find the cozy recreation village. The atmosphere is always cheerful, so find this beautiful piece of nature and experience a pleasant day in the bunting!

On the route you will find, between all the fun, standerd mill't Vliegend Hert, which was built in 1985. This makes the mill still very young, compared to other mills in the Netherlands. It stands as a rampart on the ramparts of Brielle, on the spot where a flour mill has stood since the seventeenth century. The original mill was also a standard mill, which was replaced in 1696 by a stone mill that burned out in 1810 and was rebuilt a year later. This third mill also burned out in 1882. The mill was demolished,  during a restoration of the fortress, the dice of the old standard mill were found. A replica of the first standard mill was built on top of it, which was given the status of a municipal monument.

Before you start cycling the route, you can enjoy a delicious lunch at various restaurants in Maassluis.
When you are done with the route, you can enjoy a fantastic dinner at various catering establishments in Maassluis.
If you cycle the route in the summer months and have reached the end point, you certainly deserve an ice cream from the tastiest ice cream parlor in the region, De IJsmaker Jeroen.
