Description

Complete your trip to Het Noordbrabants Museum with a trip to the cozy city center or be enchanted by nature and the landscape during the Van Gogh cycle route. This route, which starts at the museum, takes you on a 31-kilometer ride through the beautiful Brabant landscape that inspired Van Gogh throughout his life.

The Noordbrabants Museum is the only museum in the South of the Netherlands where you will find original works of art by Van Gogh. A nice overview of well-known Brabant paintings such as the Coll water mill, Digging farmer's wife, Still life with bottles and shell, The garden of the parsonage in Nuenen and Head of a woman. In 's-Hertogenbosch we highlight his development as a painter and you can literally immerse yourself in the most important themes from his Brabant period: the rural environment, farm life and still life.

Along the route you will take in a piece of the city's cultural-historical backdrop, but in no time you will be immersed in the breathtaking nature around Den Bosch, Vught, Esch, Boxtel and Sint-Michielsgestel. You will pass the nature reserves De Moerputten and the Vughtse Heide, National Monument Camp Vught, the IJzeren Man recreation area and the Bossche Broek nature reserve.
