Complete your trip to Het Noordbrabants Museum with a trip to the charming city centre or be enchanted by the nature and landscape during the Van Gogh cycle route. This route, which starts at the museum, takes you on a 31 kilometre ride through the beautiful Brabant landscape that inspired Van Gogh throughout his life.
In the Noordbrabants Museum you will find the only museum in the South of the Netherlands that has original works of art by Van Gogh. A beautiful overview with famous Brabant paintings such as the Collse watermill, Digging farmer's wife, Still life with bottles and shell, The garden of the parsonage in Nuenen and Head of a woman. In's-Hertogenbosch he highlights his development as a painter and you can literally immerse yourself in the most important themes from his Brabant period: the rural environment, farm life and still life.
On the route you will take in a piece of the cultural-historical decor of the city, but in no time you will be immersed in the breathtaking nature around Den Bosch, Vught, Esch, Boxtel and Sint-Michielsgestel. You will pass, among other things, the nature reserves De Moerputten and the Vughtse Heide, National Monument Kamp Vught, recreation area de IJzeren Man and the nature reserve Bossche Broek.
