Cycling through the National Landscape of Northeast Twente

In the rural area between Enschede, Oldenzaal and Losser you cycle through a beautiful landscape: Northeast Twente National Park, one of the twenty National Landscapes of our country. Characteristic of this area is the essen and Kempen landscape with its high-lying fields. The many hedgerows and streams give the country a private, intimate atmosphere. You will also find larger areas of forest, such as on the eight-century-old Hof Espelo Estate. Further on you cycle through the Haagse Bos, a nature reserve with deciduous trees and wet heathland. Losser is a pleasant village, here you pass the detached Martinus Tower from the fifteenth century. You make a shortcut through Germany, from junction 53 you drive along the rippling water of the Dinkel. Finally, you cycle through the heart of Enschede, where you get off at IntercityHotel Enschede.
