Further afield is Wessem, a gem on the Maas thanks to its well-preserved old city center. What a nice atmosphere you will experience here!
Linnerweerd
The Linnerweerd is one of the few remaining natural floodplains of the Meuse. Here you see an eighteenth-century country house: Ravensberg. In Heel you can see some beautiful old farms. You will also pass Nederhoven Castle, a moated hunting lodge from 1614. Further on is Heel Castle, another beautiful old building. Finally, you drive across the Island in the Maas again.
