Flea dropper mill
You drive this tour through the outskirts of Roerdalen: a gently sloping region where the landscape consists of a mix of fields, grasslands, stream valleys and forests. After warming up your legs, you pass through Herkenbosch. You pass the Sint-Sebastianus church, which partly dates from the thirteenth century. You cycle to the Vlodroppermolen: a watermill from 1875 that is located on the Roer.
The Meinweg
At the Rothenbach you can view the Gitstappermolen from 1377. You then cycle through the woods on the edge of De Meinweg, passing the visitor center. At the end of your route is the Prince Bernhard, a flour mill. It is a replica built in 1999 of a copy that was destroyed by war in 1944.
