Cycling around The Hague

You drive through beautiful nature reserves around The Hague. First you cycle through the Scheveningse Bosjes, which enjoys a protected cityscape. Then you drive to Landgoed Clingendael, the country house dates from the seventeenth century. South of Rijswijk you cycle along the quay of the Rijn-Schie Canal. You drive through the Elsenburgerbos with its lawns and rolling hills. You pass the Schaapweimolen, a polder mill from 1826. On the outskirts of The Hague you pass through the Kraaiennest, a bird-rich nature and water storage area. Further on you cycle through Landgoed Ockenburgh, a country estate that originally dates from the seventeenth century. In the adjoining Westduinen you will find dense forests, open plains, steep slopes and viewpoints that protrude more than 30 meters above sea level. The route ends at Carlton Ambassador Hotel.
