Tour from Cnossen through Nienoord

A wonderful walk from Holiday Park Cnossen Leekstermeer.
The walk is approximately 10 km, but can be shortened after 2 km to a shorter route of approximately 3.5 km. The route runs across the holiday park along the Leekstervaart (unpaved) to the bridge at the Nienoord estate. Here you can choose to turn left onto the cycle path for the short route. When you cross the bridge for the long route, it takes you through the beautiful forest of the Nienoord estate and past the Borg Nienoord. When you return to the bridge over the Leekstervaart, you walk via a cycle and walking path through a piece of wetland in the Onlanden nature reserve. Many special birds can be spotted here. The egret is the mascot of the Onlanden! Along the way you will come across several benches and picnic spots. Parking is of course also possible at the Nienoord estate.
