Discover the natural beauty between Lemele and Hellendoorn

The first kilometers you drive through a scenic landscape of streams and grasslands and small forest plots. A beautiful environment if you want to relax for a day. You will pass the former manor of Egede, of which only the eighteenth-century building remains. In Hellendoorn you make a pit stop at Restaurant Zalencentrum In de Tonne. Then you cycle a bit through the woods at the foot of the Hellendoornse Berg. You drive through Lemele, after which you drive through the Archemer- and Lemelerberg nature reserve. Here you will find quiet forests and rolling heathlands. You can soon get off the path to the right and walk to the top of the Lemelerberg, a beautiful viewpoint. This is where Monument Park 1813 is located: a statue of a lion as a tribute to Dutch independence.
