Tour of Delden, Boekelo and Beckum

You start this route in the heart of Delden. On the Markt you will see a number of monumental buildings, such as the Salt Museum, which is located in the former town hall from 1657. You can also take a look at the Oude Blasius Church, a building that largely dates from the early sixteenth century. Then you drive into the Twente countryside. Cycling along quiet roads you can enjoy an authentic scenic landscape. At junction 29 you arrive at the Oelerbeek along the Oldemeulen from 1690. It is nice to cycle through the woods around Boekelo. You will also pass two stations of the Museum Buurtspoorweg. You cross the Twenthe Canal via a monumental lock complex from 1936 and drive back into Delden. At Gasterij't Oaldershoes you are welcome for a snack and a drink.
