Walking tour of Westerpark and Balijbos

This nice varied walking route starts at Camping De Drie Morgen. In the farm shop you can stock up on some tasty fresh products for the road. With this route you get to know the varied nature near Zoetermeer. This is how you discover the Westerpark, a recreation area that was built around 1980. You will find a mix of water features, forest and grasslands here. After a stopover at your starting point, it is time for the second part of the route, which leads through the Balijbos. In the Balijbos you see a lot of beech, ash and alder. In part of this area, nature is allowed to take its own course. It is part of the Green-Blue Slinger, which connects the green areas in the region. The iconic bridge at node 34 is a nice spot!
