Walking tour Westerpark and Balijbos

This fun and varied walking route starts at Camping De Drie Morgen. In the farm shop you can stock up on some delicious fresh produce for on the way. With this route you will get to know the varied nature near Zoetermeer. For example, you will discover the Westerpark, a recreation area that was created around 1980. Here you will find a mix of water features, forests and grasslands. After a stop at your starting point, it is time for the second part of the route, which leads through the Balijbos. In the Balijbos you will see many beeches, ash trees and alders. In part of this area, nature is allowed to take its own course. It is part of the Groen-Blauw Slinger, which connects the green areas in the region. The iconic bridge at junction 34 is a beautiful spot!
