Natural Schiermonnikoog route

A varied route that is very suitable for (young) families with children. On the cornelis Visserpad you pass the play forest, where natural play equipment challenges the children, then the tour continues towards the bunker. Climb the dune for the beautiful view from the bunker over the island. With clear weather you can even see the neighboring islands of Ameland and German Borkum. The tour then continues towards the forest, Badstrand and salt marsh. A stopover at the Badstrand is recommended to go beachcombing and search for shells with the children. Just before the end point you can still visit the animal meadow with playground on Oosterreeweg.
