Enjoy yourself in the Bommelerwaard

In the Bommelerwaard it is wonderful to make kilometers. You regularly cycle over dikes along the Maas and other waterways. There are also beautiful old castles waiting for you! Cycling over the Maasdijk you have a beautiful view over the river. After a round around Hedel you will pass the beautiful Kasteel Ammersoyen, one of the best preserved authentic medieval castles in the Netherlands. At Nederhemert you will discover Kasteel Nederhemert, it originally dates from 1300. During your route you can stop at Hoppies for a delicious lunch, to relax from cycling. The route ends at Boerderij De Spijken - B&B - Mini Camping - Kaarsenmakerij, enjoy an overnight stay here to explore this area the next day.
