Description
- Junction 96 - Verhaeghe Castle with sturdy gate.
- Junction 98-85 The protected St. Amandus Church and the highest point of the village, protected as a monument from 1788. Next to the church is a bronze statue and tour hero of Jef Planckaert, worshipped in Otegem and the wider region in the 1960s as a hero in the tour and many classics.
- Junction 99-9 Avelgem and the Scheldt meadows, a nature reserve of 450 hectares.
- Junction 71-86 Scheldt at the border... language border between West Flanders and Hainaut and is therefore the language border, You follow the towpath for almost 2 km, to the place where the canal from Kortrijk joins the river. The lock between the two bridges a drop of no less than 9.49 km.
