Tour of Barneveld and Schaffelaarsche Bos

This walking route starts at Barneveld center train station, handy! With this route you will discover the De Schaffelaar estate, where there is a beautiful castle. Its history goes back to the sixteenth century. The surrounding Schaffelaarsche Bos is also a wonderful area to enjoy. The route also takes a few streets from the original church village of Barneveld, along water and greenery. Barneveld has had an important market function for the area for centuries. At the end of the route you will return to Barneveld train station. Here you can board the train to travel home comfortably.
