City walk Barneveld and estate De Schaffelaar

This walking route starts at Barneveld center train station, handy! From here you walk through the streets of the original church village, along water and greenery. Barneveld has had an important market function for the area for centuries. The market here is therefore worthwhile. In July and August, the Oud Veluwse Markt is held here with more than 200 wooden stalls, old crafts, parades, folk dances and much more. Fun to experience! With this route you will also discover the De Schaffelaar estate, where there is a beautiful castle. Its history goes back to the sixteenth century. At the end of the route you will return to Barneveld train station. Here you can board the train to travel home comfortably.
