Nature tour from Oerle

Your walking route starts in Oerle with the neo-Gothic cross church De Sint Jan de Doperkerk from 1912. First have a coffee at Eetcafé De Kers, the conservatory and terrace offer a beautiful view of this historic spot. Via the Molen Sint-Jan you walk to the Buikheide, a forest area that was once created for logging. Here you see conifers and American oaks. Further on you walk through the woods of Halfmile. In the countryside you will see some characteristic farms. You will also pass through the Oerlese Forests, where there are many centuries-old hedgerows. Time seems to have stood still in the hamlet of Zandoerle. There are several monumental long-facade farms on the Brink, planted with lime trees. Also note the centuries-old chapel, a beautiful authentic spot.
