Nature tour from Oerle

Your walking route starts in Oerle with the neo-Gothic cruciform church De Sint Jan de Doperkerk from 1912. First have a coffee here at Eetcafé De Kers, the conservatory and the terrace offer a beautiful view of this historic spot. Via the Molen Sint-Jan you walk to the Buikheide, a forest area that was once created for logging. Here you see conifers and American oaks. Further on you walk through the woods of Halfmijl. In the outlying area you will see some characteristic farms. You will also pass through the Oerlese Bossen where many ancient wooded banks are still located. Time seems to have stood still in the hamlet of Zandoerle. There are several monumental long-gabled farms on the Brink, which is planted with linden trees. Also note the ancient chapel, a beautiful authentic spot.
