Description
Take the boat from Den Helder and enjoy the silence and nature on Texel! First you drive to Den Hoorn, a beautiful village where you can admire the fifteenth-century Reformed Church. Then you drive through the woods of De Dennen. You can get off here for a pit stop at Bospaviljoen't Turfveld, after which you drive to Waalenburg. In this vast nature reserve you will see flowery meadows and many birds. Further on you cycle through Oosterend. Step off to enjoy the historic atmosphere! Oudeschild is also beautiful, here you will find the Zeemanskerkje from 1650. The route continues through the polders and Den Burg. You will pass Bospaviljoen't Turfveld again. Enjoy a drink before you leave Texel again.
