A wonderful walk through the nature around Zwiep, near Lochem in Gelderland. What are you waiting for? You start at Restaurant & Spelerij De Witte Wieven, where you can find delicious, regional products such as the Zwiepse bolus. Tasty! Then you go on an exploration trip. Zwiep is known in the Netherlands for its white wieven. These were female apparitions who punished meddling mercilessly. This is their story, as told by a baker in Zwiep. During the route you walk past De Cloese Castle. The castle is located on the north bank of the Berkel river and looks idyllic. You also walk over the Lochemse Berg, a beautiful rolling landscape.
