E-bike route Bergen aan Zee

After an overnight stay at Landgoed Huize Glory in Bergen aan Zee, you get on your bike. You cycle straight into the Schoorlse Duinen, the highest and widest dunes in the Netherlands. You have to climb and descend quite a bit here, but that's no problem with an e-bike! Further on, you cycle a bit along the Hondsbossche Zeewering. The Hargermolen dates from 1804. Its predecessor was destroyed in 1799 during fighting between an English-Russian army and the French occupiers. On the way to the small village of Groet, you come across various mills, such as the Groetermolen. Then you cycle along the Schoorlse Duinen to the historic heart of Cheese City Alkmaar. You make a crossing through the polder for a bit on the boulevard of Egmond aan Zee and then cycle back to your starting point.
