Walk along the polder path

You start at Boerderij't Geertje in Zoeterwoude, just above Zoetermeer. Here you will experience real farm life. Farm animals are kept here on a small scale, with respect for the cycle of nature. In the restaurant you can have a nice bite to eat or drink before or after your walk. This lovely walking route takes you through the arable forest, over the dike of the Meerpolder, past the evolution garden and through the Geerpolder. Be surprised by the beautiful landscape, the history of this landscape and what happens in the soil to make it look like this above ground. Life-size willow artworks reinforce the story of the polder. Illustrated signs along the route provide concise, fun and interesting information.
