Rotterdam Maasstad (NS route)

Starting point: Rotterdam Central station. End point: Rotterdam Blaak station or Rotterdam Central station. Not a quiet, green area this time, but a lively city with much to see and do. There is always something sailing on the Nieuwe Maas, including old ports with historic ships, unique bridges and a modern skyline. You can walk to historic Delfshaven via green canals. From the Parkheuvel near the Euromast you have a beautiful view over the Nieuwe Maas and the ?Rotterdam? once the flagship of the Holland America Line (HAL). From the Veerhaven you cross to Hotel New York (you can also walk over the Erasmus Bridge). Via the Noordereiland and the Willemsbrug to the cozy Oude Haven near Blaak and along the sculpture route on the Westersingel back to the station.
