Cycling route Loenermark and Spelderholt

Cycling around the Veluwe means enjoying natural beauty, peace and fresh air. After you have loosened your legs in the Beekbergen area, you drive into the Veluwe. The cycle path leads you for many kilometers through deciduous and coniferous forests. On the heathland of the Loenermark, the inhabited world suddenly seems very far away. You have beautiful views here, you can also see juniper bushes and - with a bit of luck - the flock of sheep that graze this area. You make a shortcut through Groenendaal, a former agricultural enclave. Just past junction 85 you pass L61, a listening point on the Liberation Route. Here you can listen to the story about the largest mass execution in the Netherlands during the Second World War. The route ends with a cozy terrace at Hotel and Castle Spelderholt.
