Tour of Knegsel, Vessem and Middelbeers

You'll start this unique cycling day in Middelbeers. On the way to Oostelbeers, you'll see the former Himbergen mill from 1844 on your left. The associated warehouse is also still standing. In the woods of the Oirschotse Heide, it's wonderful to cover some distance, cycling past fragrant trees and shrubs. Wintelre is one of the Eight Beatitudes along your route. Through a mosaic of fields, stream valleys, and small woodlands, you'll cycle to Knegsel, another Beatitude. Further on, you'll arrive in the pretty village of Vessem. Here you'll see, among other things, the Jacobus, a corn mill built in 1893. In the hamlets of Donk and Meerveld, you'll pass several beautiful thatched farmhouses, and just before Westelbeers, you'll pass the Mariakapel (Maria Chapel) from 1637. The route ends at Lunchroom & IJssalon Meesterlijk.
