Tour of Vessem, Eindhoven and Veldhoven

You start at Mout & Hout. The Oirschotse heath is a large heath and drifting sand area. Breeding birds such as the nightjar, the black grouse and the crossbill hide between the trees and shrubs. The Buikheide also has a dry, sandy bottom. Until the mid-twentieth century, heathland, oak forest, fens and peat areas were still untouched here. You can still find these landscape elements here. At E. Yacht Club Beatrix you can see beautiful yachts. The modern port is located on the Beatrix Canal and can accommodate ships with a draft of almost 2 meters and 14 meters in length. Or go and see the beautiful windmill of Veldhoven: the St. Jan looks beautiful, in the countryside. The mill was built between 1985 and 1991 with parts from various demolished mills.
