Circular walk around De Rips

Discover the nearby Bosmuseum De Rips: a wooden shelter on the edge of the forest where information panels tell the story of the origins of this area. Then you walk onto Het Beestenveld. Here the path leads you between fragrant conifers. You continue walking through the Protestant hamlet of Vossenberg. A Protestant church was built on the Vossenberg estate in 1927 especially for Northerners who came here to work in the heathland reclamations. With a parsonage, school and some houses it grew into the hamlet of Vossenberg. The straight roads and the young Peel reclamation are still clearly visible. Not much was added later, which is why it is an authentic hamlet in the green farmland.
