Village route Texel from the boat

Your bike ride today takes you along the most beautiful villages of Texel. From the IJsdijk you have beautiful views over the Wadden Sea. Don't forget to look to the right as you cycle past the Dijkmanshuizen bird sanctuary. You pass through Oudeschild, a beautiful village from which VOC ships once departed. The seventeenth-century White Church you see here is a picture. In De Cocksdorp, get off at Eethuus Van het Wad in De Cocksdorp, where you can enjoy Wadded delicacies. Den Burg, the largest village on Texel, is also a nice place to put your bike aside and soak up the atmosphere. It doesn't take long before you reach De Koog, one of the oldest villages on Texel. Only the old village church still reminds of the former fisherman's life.
