Cycling route Giersbergen, Cromvoirt and Loon op Zand

This route starts south of Waalwijk. First, you'll cycle to the Plantloon estate, where you'll see a mix of lanes, deciduous forests, and grassy meadows. From junction 21, you'll cycle along the Drongelens Canal, which serves as a drainage canal. Further on, you'll enter the Loonse & Drunense Dunes National Park. Giersbergen, a village with several historic farmsteads, lies at the heart of the park. Cycling past meadows and through forests, you'll reach Cromvoirt. Here, you can stop for a drink at De Oude Herberg (The Old Inn). You'll see the former town hall and the Sint-Lambertus Church (St. Lambertus Church) from 1888. The second part of the route follows the edge of the Loonse & Drunense Dunes to Loon op Zand. Finally, you'll cycle through the forest back to the parking lot.
