Description

From your starting point you quickly make a nice shortcut to the Bels Lijntje, the former railway line between Tilburg and Turnhout that now serves as a cycle path. You then continue to Baarle via the Bels Lijntje. A total of 30 pieces of Belgium and the Netherlands are intertwined in this enclave village! Then you cycle straight through Chaam and the hamlet of Dassemus to Koetshuis Anneville, originally a tenant farm from 1844. Villa Anneville was the residence of Queen Wilhelmina for a short time. She camped here with, among others, Erik Hazelhoff Roelfzema, the Soldier of Orange. Then you cycle back through the Chaamse Bossen. The sand drifts, wet heath and fens here are planted with Scots pine.
