Walking tour: Goirle and Riels Hoefke

Uitspanning & Camping Breehees is the ideal starting point for this walk. Start here with a cup of coffee and a snack. Then put on your walking shoes to explore the beautiful Brabant nature and surroundings. You first walk towards Goirle, where you pass the De Wilde mill. Then you head towards the Riels Hoefke nature reserve. The old-fashioned Scots pine forest Het Riels Hoefke is part of the vast heathland Het Regte Heide. The area was originally a drifting sand area that was later forested during the Second World War, in order to shield the Gilze-Rijen air base. After a day in nature, you can spend the night here in the Brabant countryside. You can go to the mini-campsite, in one of the modern holiday homes or in one of the three tents of FarmCamps.
