Description

There is nothing better than cycling in Zeeland. The salty sea air blowing through your hair, the smell of the beach and the view over the dunes and the sea. And then we haven't even talked about the beautiful interior with the vast views. The starting point of this cycle route is at the port of Vlissingen. The port city on the Western Scheldt has the longest sea boulevard in the Netherlands, where you can almost touch the passing ships. You cycle along the coast to Zoutelande, where you can get off and rest at Brasserie de Meerpaal. The location of this holiday park is unique: on the edge of the village, surrounded by forest and at the foot of the dunes. You then cycle past Grijpskerke and Middelburg, before returning to Vlissingen.
