Description
During this cycling route you will discover the surroundings of Gilze, Goirle and Poppel in Belgium. You start just outside Gilze and then cycle towards Alphen and the Belgian border. You cycle back through the Rovertsche Heide towards the Dutch border. The Rovertsche Heide is characterized by the alternating heaths and forest areas. Along the way you can stop and rest at Klooster Nieuwkerk in Goirle. With respect for nature, you can enjoy a Burgundian experience in this beautiful monastery and the accompanying estate! In the forest café you can enjoy a snack and a drink before getting back on your bike. The Goirle area has beautiful surroundings with lots of nature where you can enjoy cycling.
