The starting point of this fine walking route is at De Menmoerhoeve, just below Etten-Leur. The Menmoerhoeve is one of the barony gates of Landstad de Baronie. Baronie Gates provide access to valuable natural areas or special cultural-historical places in De Baronie. The ideal starting point for a hike! Baroniepoort de Menmoerhoeve is located near the Pannenhoef nature reserve. Start with a nice cup of coffee and a treat before you hit the road. Etten-Leur is a wonderful area to walk through. Forest, fens and flowery meadows characterize this walking route. The forests of the Pannenhoef are home to mammals such as polecat and deer and birds such as green woodpecker and buzzard.
