Get to know the beautiful Brabant nature between Valkenswaard and Someren! First you cycle through the Malpie. Some fens were constructed as fish ponds, others arose naturally in the Dommel valley. You pass the Venbergse Watermolen, after which you drive through the Leenderbos. Here you can enjoy the freshly scented forests that extend all the way to Heeze. A little later you cycle across the Strabrechtse Heide. At Boscafe van Moorsel you can enjoy a meal on the terrace, after which you drive to the Somerense Heide. Here too you will find plenty of conifers. Just past junction 4 you pass the remains of Cranendonck Castle. This once became the property of Oranje Nassau through inheritance, sale and marriage. Finally, you will pass the Achelse Kluis Abbey.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
