The Backyard of Garderen

There is definitely a lot to discover in the Barneveld Region, which is known as the epicenter of poultry farming. The region is part of Food Valley and is also very popular with many tourists. The versatility of the Barneveld Region, with no fewer than 9 village centres, can be explored in various ways. Cycling, walking, driving and horse riding... it's all possible! There is an extensive cycling junction network, numerous walking routes, car routes are available and routes for horse lovers have also been considered. You get to know the area and discover the diversity. Within relatively short distances you will find worlds of difference, something for everyone.

This route takes you through the beautiful nature of the Veluwe north of the beautiful village of Garderen. You cycle through the Speulderbos via Drie towards Putten, after which you return to Garderen over the Ermelo heath, through Staverden and Uddel.
