Your cycle route starts at the edge of the Oude Warande, built in 1712, one of the few well-preserved star forests in the Netherlands. Around 1600, Tilburg had already grown into the most important wool city in Brabant and in the eighteenth century the textile industry emerged here that made the city great in the nineteenth century. In Hilvarenbeek you will see the old Vrijthof, a square that enjoys a protected village view. It is a beautiful spot with two centuries-old lime trees, several stately mansions and the late Gothic Sint-Petrus\\\'-Bandenkerk from the fifteenth century. Landgoed Roovert is wonderfully quiet with a mix of deciduous and coniferous trees. Every now and then you have views over a meadow. Take a break near Goirle at the Nieuwkerkse Hoeve! You cycle back via Riel.
Below you will find various suggestions for breaks that you can visit during your route. These are divided into different categories, making it easy for you to choose.
