Tour of the dunes from Egmond-Binnen

First have a cup of coffee at Herberg Binnen and then put on your walking shoes. Your starting point is in Egmond Binnen, right on the dunes. Behind the dune tops you will find a varied open and wooded area, where you can walk in the shelter. Numerous plants and animals find a home here. This is the North Holland Dune Reserve: a rarity in Europe due to the enormous variety of plant and animal species. The dune tops are also worth seeing. Some peaks are more than thirty meters high, so that you occasionally have beautiful panoramas over the dunes and the underlying polder landscape. The wind has less say here. Especially when you walk into the dune forest, you suddenly become aware of the silence.
